Kiddish thoughts?

Sometimes I wonder why the people I came across and the events I was part of during my childhood occupies such a special place in my mind and heart. After all, I have met many more people and gone through more fascinating experiences during teenage and youth. Is it because they were the first and therefore special or is it just a false sense of nostalgia? Do people we consider special ‘return us the favour’? Do they love us as much as we do? Is it that some people are just too hesitant to open up their hearts and give voice to their feelings devoid of all inhibitions and fear of possible consequences? Oh how I wish people I consider special are really special! Oh how I wish they would jump past the illusory walls of region, religion, caste, language and wealth! Oh how I wish people were as sweet as I think them to be…
