Shame on politicians?

I couldn’t but help being amused by all the scorn that was/is being poured on the Politicians in the aftermath of 26/11 terror attacks; as though the politicians fell from the sky one fine evening?! WE elected them or rather allowed the rotten eggs to come to power by not participating in the elections and so WE, the ordinary citizens, are responsible for the recent terror attacks! Shame on US not politicians! We should either go out and vote/stand for election or just keep quiet!
